Weeks after a series of riots broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, the wreckage of the city’s downtown area serves as a dark reminder of what could happen in the absence of law and order.
Jacob Blake, an alleged sex offender, was shot during a confrontation with police in August. After responding to a 9-1-1 call, officers pulled the trigger when it appeared Blake was retrieving a weapon from the car he was driving — where his own children were inside. Police later found knives in the vehicle.
The shooting came as race-based riots were already sweeping the country. With the media portraying the incident as just another example of white police officers killing an innocent black man in cold blood, the stage was set for another slew of anarchist violence.
One America News recently went on-location to survey the damage, weeks after authorities finally restored some semblance of order to the area. In the video below, you’ll see an entire fleet of cars burned to a crisp, and a litany of property damage.
As we saw in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd, many of the buildings burned during the so-called protests were small businesses. These businesses may never be able to open anywhere ever again.
It’s clear where this senseless violence is coming from. Democrats in the media and at the top of the party hierarchy are actively supporting it. Former Vice President Joe Biden still refuses to condemn Antifa by name. It’s a bleak preview of what could be in store for the country should Biden defeat President Donald Trump in November’s election.
