Report: The DOJ and FBI Bent Over Backwards to Protect Hillary Clinton

There’s a lot of information to gather from the DOJ inspector general’s explosive 500-page report on the conduct of James Comey and the FBI during the 2016 election. However, one theme that is woven throughout the details of the report is that Comey, the FBI, and the DOJ bent over backwards to protect Hillary Clinton during their investigation.

Decisions about whether or not Clinton should be prosecuted for her illegal use of a private email server were made before the investigation even got underway, every effort to improve the public’s perception of Clinton and the FBI’s investigation into her actions was undertaken, and Clinton herself – the subject of their investigation – was even consulted by the FBI and DOJ numerous times about how they should proceed.

With information like this coming to light, it’s shocking that Clinton and the Democrats still blame Comey for handing the election to Donald Trump. James Comey is certainly guilty of many sins, but undermining Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election is not one of them.
