Pelosi LIES When Confronted About Pork-Filled COVID-19 Bill

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, told a blatant lie to a CNN host on Tuesday when asked about the House Democrats’ coronavirus relief bill, indicating that all suggestions by the Democrats were specifically related to COVID-19.

“Everything we’re suggesting just relates to COVID-19,” Pelosi lied. “It’s not changing policy except as it applies here.”

This has obviously been revealed as a complete lie and utter lie, as Pelosi’s claim about the coronavirus relief bill has been disproven by the ridiculous pork-filled proposal presented by Democrats.

Instead, the Dem’s 1,400-page COVID-19 bill would have cost taxpayers more than $2.5 trillion, and it included dozens of provisions that are completely unrelated to the COVID-19 crisis. Lies, lies, lies.

Some of the ridiculous Democratic COVID-19 Bill items include airline emissions regulations, a bailout for the U.S. Postal Service, study on climate change migration, student loan forgiveness, required same-day voter registration, collective bargaining provisions, increased federal minimum wage for companies that accept government loans, election security funding, publication of race and pay statistics for corporate boards, and more.

The Senate presented a relief bill last week which received an unprecedented amount of support from both sides. So much in fact, that the president announced that they were close to being able to sign the bill into law. But then, at the eleventh hour, Pelosi flew into town, on the taxpayers’ dime, and put a hold on the whole thing. She decided that the president’s bill was not acceptable, and that House Democrats would move forward with their own coronavirus relief package.

Democrats did indeed introduce their own COVID-19 relief bill, which Trump refused to sign due to its ridiculous provisions. In an effort to give relief from the shaky economy, Trump and Republicans negotiated and eventually agreed to a new bill, which was announced early last Wednesday morning.

Overall, the American people are not too surprised at the Democrats’ lack of concern for U.S. citizens or their pork-filled bill, as it seems they are too worried about supporting illegal immigrants than the Americans who voted them into office.

In fact, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) reportedly told Democratic colleagues just last week that the COVID-19 emergency presents Democrats with “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) made similar comments on Tuesday, and actually attempted to defend the delay that Democrats have caused by admitting that they are requiring unrelated provisions for “the health of our democracy.”
