House Democrats Want MORE Hearings on Trump and Russia

Republicans have criticized the actions of Democrats and their rage-filled House that continues to exasperate efforts to impeach President Donald Trump and subpoena Attorney General William Barr. According to Representative Doug Collins, (R) GA, a ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Democrats are “way out over their skis” and willing to say just about anything to see Trump fail, including lie.

Rep. Collins comments were in direct response to Democratic Rep. Mazie Hirono’s statement indicating that she believes that President Trump is guilty of obstructing justice, referring to the Mueller investigation. Rep. Collins refused to give any credence to Rep. Hirono’s words and made his feelings about the situation very clear.

“They are just so blinded by rage at what’s going on with this administration that they are willing to make false accusations and that’s where the breakdown in honesty with the American people and Congress has got to get better,” he said. “They need to be working on immigration and trade deals, and what the American people need. Not this continual attack on the president.”

Rep. Collins was also quick to add that intelligence leaders who took part in the Russia investigation should be more concerned about their own actions instead, with regard to their stance involving AG Barr’s insistence to “investigate the investigators.”

Rep. Collins argued that the Democrats’ continued focus on the report on the Russia investigation is merely a poor attempt to distract the public from their serious lack of policy planning.

“The ones who need to be scared are the corrupt cabal of Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Comey, and others. They’re out there trying to rehabilitate themselves because I don’t think they want looked into – what they did,” said Collins. “I don’t want to blanket the entire FBI or even the entire DOJ with the wrongdoings of some very wrong-minded, corrupt individuals who decided on their own that they were going to take things into their own hands.”

Rep. Collins did not back down at all in his attempt to set the record straight, and continued with his summation of the Democrats and the superfluous continuations of hearings and impeachment talks regarding President Trump. “Democrats have gotten way over their skis and promising their rabid base who doesn’t like the president … at the same time, they much rather would focus on this because they have no legislative agenda,” he said.

“We’ve seen five and half months of absolutely nothing but pandering to the left base, so now they are having that as a problem…and also the problem of their whole house of cards on what the president did is coming apart as well,” he added.

House Democrats are prepared to begin a new set of hearings and congressional actions as soon as this week in connection with the Russia investigation, as Democratic lawmakers and the new batch of 2020 presidential candidates increase pressure on party leaders to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
