Former CNN Workers Expose Network’s Bias

In the history of propaganda organizations, CNN may rank as the all-time worst. The biased, anti-conservative, anti-Trump media outlet has failed miserably to mislead everyday Americans that it remains an impartial news resource. Marred by death spiraling ratings, mass layoffs and repeated purges of commentators who don’t fit the “hate Trump” mold, recently dismissed contributors are speaking out.

CNN contributor Ken Cuccinelli was reportedly let go after President Donald Trump mulled him over for a high-profile post at Homeland Security. Since reports indicated Cuccinelli would run the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services department, CNN has gone on a tear attacking their former co-worker. The former Virginia attorney general and gubernatorial candidate joined the ranks of conservative commentators who were shown the door after the president made overtures they could join his administration.

For example, President Trump nominated economist Stephen Moore to the Federal Reserve Board in March. After Moore withdrew his name, CNN promptly cut ties.

“Who are the Republicans? John Kasich? He hates Trump,” Moore said about Republicans still at CNN. “CNN is the ‘hate Trump’ network. They just trash Trump every single hour of every single day. All they’ve talked about for two years is the Mueller report and how bad does it make them look now that it proved nothing.”

In similar moves, CNN opted to let pro-Trump commentators’ contracts expire without renewed negotiations. Republicans Andre Bauer and Jack Kingston quietly exited the building earlier this year. Although CNN may deny its obvious animosity toward the president, his supporters, and conservatives at large, decision-makers have left a trail of breadcrumbs.

“Most of us got squeezed out involuntarily,” former Georgia Congressman Jack Kingston said. “I was there for two years and was certainly willing to continue. It was clear to me in the end that the Republicans they prefer are anti-Trump Republicans.”

Many other former CNN insiders are also coming clean about CNN’s filthy environment.

“If you hate Trump, you tune to CNN to validate your hatred,” former contributor Bryan Lanza said after leaving to work for the Trump Administration. “Not sure it’s a winning formula and I’m validated by their last place performance against other outlets.”

From an industry business perspective, the “hate Trump” rallying cry has been a ratings loser. Humiliating reports have grown commonplace about CNN death spiral. Some point to single shows at Fox garnering double the viewership of CNN’s top segments. A late May report pointed out that CNN lost a staggering 43 percent in prime time and a disgraceful 47 percent total daily viewership. This was reportedly its worst standings since 2015. By comparison, Fox reportedly declined a minor 3 points in the slower viewership cycle.

Through its owning burning hatred, CNN is not only an industry laughingstock, but the fake news organization also faces a $275 million defamation lawsuit for its misleading coverage of Covington High School student Nick Sandmann. The president has undoubtedly enjoyed the plummeting ratings of the “anti-Trump” network, and has been quick to blast the fake news organization to his millions of Twitter followers.

“Wow! CNN Ratings are WAY DOWN, record lows. People are getting tired of so many Fake Stories and Anti-Trump lies,” the president tweeted. “Chris Cuomo was rewarded for lowest morning ratings with a prime time spot — which is failing badly and not helping the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon!”

President Trump enjoyed outstanding ratings while working in reality television. A feat CNN has been unable to equal due to its over-the-top attacks on the administration.

“CNN used to pretend it accepted right-wing voices for balance, but now it openly despises conservatives who are pro-Trump,” conservative talk show host and former CNN contributor Buck Sexton said. “Today the entire enterprise clings to a fundamental dishonesty: that it has no political agenda. Taking down Trump is obviously the agenda. And in this regard, some of CNN’s ‘hard news’ anchors are the biggest journalistic frauds of all.”

“People ask me ‘how could you ever have worked at CNN?’ And I tell them, honestly, that CNN has always been Left of center, but it used to have on real conservatives and, while not friendly to them, was at least interested in a serious exchange of ideas,” Sexton tweeted in March. “But, Trump broke CNN.”
