Bernie Sanders STILL Has Problems with Clinton Loyalists

The 2016 election may feel like a distant memory for many Americans; however, Hillary Clinton’s staff members are still holding grudges against Bernie Sanders, blaming him for the fact that Clinton lost the race to President Donald Trump.

Three years later, they are airing their grievances by proclaiming that Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is once again making a run for the presidency, refused to travel unless the Clinton campaign arranged for him to use a private jet. The accusation has the potential to be a damning one as Sen. Sanders is putting an emphasis on environmental concerns and has already promised voters that he will draft his own version of the Green New Deal.

Zac Petkanas, the director of rapid response for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, recently complained to Politico that, while campaign volunteers took to the streets in all kinds of weather in order to persuade people to vote for Hillary Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders refused to go anywhere unless he was granted the use of a cushy private jet.

However, Clinton’s former spokesman tells a far different story. He notes the obvious fact that Sen. Sanders worked extremely hard traveling all over the country to campaign for the former Secretary of State and, instead of thanking him for his efforts, the Clinton campaign is busy maligning him on the eve of what could very well be a successful campaign for the Democratic Party’s nomination.

Current members of Sen. Sanders’ staff also note that it would have been physically impossible for the Vermont socialist to travel as much as he did without using a private jet. Many of the places he visited were small cities without many commercial travel options, and so the use of a chartered jet was a necessity if he was to travel the nation to promote Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.

It should also be noted that Bernie Sanders was putting in long hours to campaign for someone who used numerous underhand tactics to keep the nomination away from him. It is now common knowledge that Hillary Clinton, her staff members and the Democratic Party did everything in their power to promote the Clinton campaign while putting down Bernie Sanders and his supporters.

The simple fact that the senator did anything at all to promote the Clinton campaign is in itself amazing. It’s also noteworthy that the Clinton campaign felt that Sen. Sanders’ support was important enough to fly him all over the nation to campaign on Hillary Clinton’s behalf. No-one was forcing Hillary Clinton to avail herself of Sen. Sanders’ help; she could have easily said “no” to the private jet expenses, and used the money for other purposes. However, the campaign decided to take on the expense because those running the campaign obviously felt that Sen. Sanders’ efforts were worth the expense. No one even bothered mentioning the amount of money that was spent until Sanders announced that he would once again seek the nomination for the presidency.

Sen. Bernie Sanders only recently announced his decision to run for the presidency, but he is already considered to be the frontrunner for the Democratic Party. The only Democratic candidate who has more support than the Senator from Vermont is former Vice-President Joe Biden, who has not decided if he intends to run.

Naturally, Sen. Sanders’ campaign is probably not something the Democratic Party would like to deal with once again, and this isn’t the first time that former members of Hillary Clinton’s campaign have used their connections to mainstream journalists to attempt to put him down.

The blame games, mud-throwing and name-calling are only just starting and American voters are going to see a lot more negative “revelations” in the next 22 months as Democrat presidential candidates and former candidates do everything they can to get the results they want.

Again, all President Trump really has to do is sit back and watch…
