Young People are Getting Sick of the Left

In spite of the death-grip that the left has on academia, entertainment, and the media – all powerful influencers for young people in America – liberalism is still hemorrhaging youth support at an unprecedented rate.

Much of this loss of support is a disaster of the left’s own making. Many young people in America today have grown weary of the PC culture and constant browbeating of the left, and have begun to see it for what it is – a restriction of speech and expression.

Meanwhile, the conservative movement is gaining energy among the youth as young people begin to realize that you can support conservative ideals and still be compassionate toward the needs and struggles of others. The recent surge of political power on the right has also put conservatism at the forefront of American politics, which has only further strengthened the appeal that conservatism has to the younger generation.

There are certainly threats that conservatism faces as the movement tries to maintain its energy among young people, but these threats are not nearly as serious as the threat of losing one of their key bases of support that the left currently faces.

To hear Ben Shapiro talk about how the left is losing young people and explain why more and more youth are being drawn toward conservatism, be sure to check out the video below.
