Stretching back four White House administrations, only two looked favorably on stronger ties with China — the Clintons and Obama-Biden.
The Clintons reportedly took illegal campaign donations from China, and Joe Biden leveraged his position so his son, Hunter, could secure millions from Chinese financial leaders. Yes, the two administrations that favored working with China lined their pockets. President George W. Bush, by contrast, took steps to prevent Chinese intellectual property theft. President Donald Trump recently suggested the U.S. would be wise to completely sever economic ties with the communists.
“The U.S. certainly does maintain a policy option, under various conditions, of a complete decoupling from China,” President Trump said.
It’s a warning everyday Americans would be wise to consider and, perhaps, go much further. The history of U.S.-China relations and the current crisis demonstrates it’s in the best interest of everyday Americans to sever all ties.
1: China Has A Long History of Killing Americans
Every country on the planet agrees that the current pandemic originated in China, and it’s likely more than 1 million Americans will lose their lives. We know the Chinese Communist Party influenced World Health Organization leaders to withhold facts that caused the virus to spread exponentially.
But the communists have a long and infamous pandemic track record. The H1N1 pandemic originated in China and killed more than 12,000 Americans in 2009. Before that, the so-called Hong Kong flu killed 100,000 Americans. Coronavirus task force expert Dr. Anthony Fauci recently went on the record stating that another swine flu is brewing in China that could kill more of our loved ones.
“In other words, when you get a brand new virus that turns out to be a pandemic virus it’s either due to mutations and/or the reassortment or exchanges of genes,” Dr. Fauci said. “And they’re seeing virus in swine, in pigs now, that have characteristics of the 2009 H1N1, of the original 1918, which many of our flu viruses have remnants of that in it, as well as segments from other hosts, like swine.”
The 1918 virus killed upward of 50 million globally and 676,000 Americans.
2: China Seeks To End Global Freedom
Far-left progressives such as Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders may shrug off communist totalitarianism, but China’s recent takeover of Hong Kong stands as a harbinger of things to come. The U.K. handed the independent municipality over the communists with an agreement residents would enjoy free speech and autonomy. Communist leaders in Beijing have already enacted “national security” laws that stifle free speech as police and military personnel black bag pro-Democracy residents.
“No reasonable person can assert today that Hong Kong maintains a high degree of autonomy from China, given facts on the ground,” U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated.
The endgame of China’s Communist Party is to assert its dictatorship-style government throughout the world. America cannot defend freedom while dependent on this enemy for the medicine to combat the very pandemics it creates.
3: China Robs Americans Blind
It may seem like ancient history, but disgraced ex-President Clinton helped China gain membership to the World Trade Organization at a time when it flooded markets with cheap imitations of American products. Rather than punish Chinese thieves, he rewarded them. From that day to this, China has never stopped its thieving ways. Intellectual property theft reportedly tops $600 billion annually and 1 out of every 5 American companies say that China has stolen from them.
Recent reports indicate that communists have infiltrated U.S. colleges, research facilities, and companies with the intent of sending American innovations back to China. Adding insult to injury, U.S. colleges educate their young people who then stab the country in the back.
Working with a dishonest communist government that uses people as spies, thieves, and causes global pandemics is no longer an option. It’s time to sever all ties.
