Joe Biden: George Floyd’s Death “More Impactful” Than MLK’s

Joe Biden’s behavior over the last few months reminds us of that scene from 2001, A Space Odyssey where the HAL 9000’s CPU is being disassembled by astronaut Dave and is repeatedly singing Daisy Bell as each round becomes less and less coherent.

You may remember during the 2012 election, Biden sat in front of an audience of black voters and told them that Mitt Romney and the Republican Party wanted to “put y’all back in chains.” The funny part is that, to this day, hardly anyone even seems to remember that — no one on the Left anyway. Leftists who do remember it find it completely acceptable because they believe it’s true.

It’s an interesting fact of our culture because, in truth, conservatives predominantly live in closer proximity to black Americans much more often than Liberals do… but we are digressing.

So the gaff master, Joe Biden has come up with another winner this week when he said that George Floyd’s death was more meaningful than that of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.

Normally, that sort of thing would be massively offensive. After all, King Jr. is the face of a real civil rights movement with a real grievance. Martin Luther King Jr. pioneered the idealization of an important moral and logical premise – that we should judge people by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin.

George Floyd, by contrast, was a career criminal who died under the influence of at least two different illegal drugs. Floyd once committed armed robbery, forcing his way into the home of a pregnant mother while pressing a loaded gun into her stomach.

That woman, by the way, was a black woman. If the demagogues of Black Lives Matter really cared about black lives, they would refuse to let a man like George Floyd stand as the symbol of their movement.

But, of course, their behavior does not indicate any real concern for the lives of black people — only the seizure of power via a media-created narrative which is as destructive as it is deceptive.

Interestingly, Biden told a black interviewer on a live podcast not long ago that, “If you vote for Trump, you ain’t black.”

That’s an amazing statement and is only acceptable to the ear of the most strident adherents of identity politics. It should be startling that Biden would say such a thing. But because his brain is clearly defective, it is more telling about the sorry mental state of the Leftist voters who intend to vote for Biden.

These are people who would rather have a president who believes he can sort ‘the real black people out from the fake black people,’ over a president who delivered record low black unemployment.

And with that, we leave it to you to decide who actually cares about whether black people or anyone at all, does well in this country.
