Migrant Admits Caravan is Carrying Criminals

As if it weren’t troubling enough that an extremely large group of migrant people is steadily making its way toward the southern border of the United States, now there are even more serious problems to be concerned about.

According to at least one man in that group of migrants, there are questionable and possibly extremely dangerous people among the crowds. That man told Fox News:

“Criminals are everywhere. It’s criminals in here. It is. But it is not that many. It is good people here trying to get through Mexico and then get to the United States. It doesn’t mean that everybody is a criminal.”

It seems he was talking out of both sides of his mouth. Are there criminals and dangerous people everywhere, or are there not? “Good” people are certainly not “criminals.”

Meanwhile, officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said earlier this week something similar to what that migrant man was saying. Tyler Houlton, a spokesman from DHS, said this on Twitter:

“@DHSgov can confirm that there are individuals within the caravan who are gang members or have significant criminal histories. Citizens of countries outside Central America, including countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and elsewhere are currently traveling through Mexico toward the U.S.”

Stopping the caravan is not just about national security or preventing crime, it is also about national sovereignty and the rule of law. Those who seek to come to America must do so the right and legal way.

And another unsettling piece of information came from Fox News, who said that 80 percent of the people among the caravan of migrants traveling toward the U.S. border “are men under the age of 35.”

Where are any women and children? Where are the older people? Why are there only younger males? There are more questions than answers, and it sounds strangely and eerily similar to the time not many years ago when Europe had such a huge issue with refugees and migrants. And a high percentage of people in those crowds were young males.

Needless to say, President Trump has a lot to say about the circumstances.

“Full efforts are being made to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens from crossing our Southern Border,” the president tweeted. “People have to apply for asylum in Mexico first, and if they fail to do that, the U.S. will turn them away. The courts are asking the U.S. to do things that are not doable!

“Every time you see a Caravan, or people illegally coming, or attempting to come, into our Country illegally, think of and blame the Democrats for not giving us the votes to change our pathetic Immigration Laws! Remember the Midterms! So unfair to those who come in legally.”

Let’s hope and pray that the U.S. border and entire country stay safe during the extremely trying ordeal.
