It is time for Europe to grow up and take responsibility for its own backyard.
This is the underlying message behind Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal. Our so-called “allies” on the other side of the globe all through a hissy fit when they saw that the president was serious about his America first campaign rhetoric. They thought they could piggyback off of the substantial military expenditures the United States makes in its own infrastructure. No more.
Europeans may actually get more benefits from the American military than Americans. This is part of the reason we have issues with rewarding our veterans – sometimes there is just not enough to go around.
Trump’s action may be identified by some as bold. Others may call it rash. However you identify it, you can definitely say that it was the right action after former Pres. Obama came out against it. Obama was not a man of superior negotiation skills, and if Trump does the polar opposite of what Obama would do, then you can rest assured that America is in a better negotiating position.
Immediately after the news, the president of Iran came out against Trump. This is another indication that we are in the right – our enemies are actually showing their hatred for us. Only time will tell whether the rest of the world will get it together. In the meantime, America will be moving forward and strengthening its own borders.
